Repair Procedure
1.
Conduct knock sensor circuit checks according to the Technical Information System (TIS): applicable model year ECHO, or Scion xA or xB
Repair Manual: Diagnostics: Engine Control System: knock Sensor.
2.
If the problem source cannot be located, replace knock sensor according to TIS: applicable model year ECHO, or Scion xA or xB Repair Manual:
Diagnostics: Engine Control System: knock Sensor.
