Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is Covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,

from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Required Tools & Equipment

Repair Procedure

1. Connect TIS Techsteam to vehicle and check for DTCs.

2. If DTCs UO1OO and U0126 are stored in the EPS ECU replace the EPS ECU.

NOTE

DTCs U0078, U0123, U0124 and U0126 may be stored in the VSC (ABS) system.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model year Scion xB Repair Manual:

3. Check and clear all codes.

4. Initialize rotation angle sensor and calibrate torque sensor zero point.
