(e) Engage the claw and close the cover.
(f) Install a new door lock wire harness seal on to the rear door lock.

(g) Insert the rear door lock into the rear door outside handle release plate, and set it to the rear door panel.
(h) Make sure that the rear door outside handle frame lock.
(i) Apply adhesive to the threads of the screws.

Adhesive:
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

(j) Using a "TORX" socket wrench T30, install the rear door lock with the 3 screws.

Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(k) Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS RUN See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Reassembly
7. INSTALL REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY 
8. INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Reassembly
9. INSTALL REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Service and Repair/Reassembly

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
