8. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 parking brake cable into the parking brake cable end stopper.

9. CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable to the parking brake equalizer.

10. CONNECT NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

HINT:  Use the same procedure as for the No. 3 parking brake cable.

11. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Parking Brake Lever/Service and Repair/Installation
12. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL See: Adjustments

13. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Install the console box mounting bracket with the 5 bolts.

Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf)

14. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Installation
15. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Installation
16. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair/Installation

17. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque: 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

18. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
