Removal

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal
2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal
3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal
4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the lock nut and adjusting nut.

(b) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and the parking brake lever.

(d) Pull up the claw and remove the No. 1 parking brake cable.
