Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation
BRAKE CONTROL: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag
system before servicing See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Service Precautions.
1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
(a) Connect the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.
(b) Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
-
Do not damage the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed securely.
2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Installation
3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Installation
4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Installation
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly/Installation
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

8. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION

9. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
