REPLACEMENT

Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal
3. LOOSEN WIRE ADJUSTING NUT See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear

4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and

Repair/Removal

5. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Axle Beam/Service and Repair/Removal
6. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Hub/Removal
7. REMOVE REAR DISC See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Brake/Removal
8. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT

(a) Temporarily install the 2 nuts and washers onto the rear axle hub bolt as shown in the illustration.
