Repair Procedure

1. Replace the ignition coil for the cylinder or cylinders identified by the DTC. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model year

2008 / 2009 Scion xB (for DTCs P0351 P0352 P0353 P0354):

Engine/Hybrid System - Engine Control - "2AZ-FE Engine Control System: SF1 System: P0351: Ignition Coil A Primary / Secondary Circuit"

2. After replacing the ignition coil clear all DTCs and verify that no DTCs reset.

If another cylinder sets a P035 # DTC during or after the repair procedure, replace additional ignition coils as necessary.

3. Warm vehicle to operating temperature and test drive to verify repair.
