NOTE

Prior to disconnecting the battery, open the rear hatch and place vehicle on a lift. When replacing the floor wire harness on the driver side, the
charcoal canister will need to be disconnected. Placing the vehicle on a lift will provide better access to the connector.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal. However, special points concerning installation are indicated.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION

Work must be started more than 90 seconds AFTER the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and the negative (-) terminal cable is
disconnected from the battery. (The SRS is equipped with a back-up power source. If work is started within 90 seconds from disconnecting the
negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may deploy.)

2. Remove the rear floor carpet assembly by releasing the 2 knobs.

3. Remove the rear deck floor box.
