Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
Removal

2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
(b) Separate the wire harness.

(c) Separate the No. 1 vacuum switching valve.

(d) Disconnect the ventilation hose.
(e) Separate the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose.

(f) Loosen the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp, unlock the air cleaner assembly clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with No. 1 air

cleaner hose.

(g) Remove the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly.
