Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

U241E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: SPEED SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR NC

(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it into the speed sensor NC.

(b) Install the speed sensor NC with the bolt.

Torque: 8.8 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 78 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the speed sensor NC connector.

2. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR NT

(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it into the speed sensor NT.

(b) Install the speed sensor NT with the bolt.

Torque: 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the speed sensor NT connector.

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Throttle Body/Service and

Repair/Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY CARRIER See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
7. INSTALL BATTERY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation
8. INSPECT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID LEAK
