Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Linchpin -T10027-
  Note!
t  In order to properly adjust the working for the gearbox , the following points must be taken into account:
t  The gearbox, the working of the clutch and the clutch must all be in perfect working condition
t  The working of the gear change must be smooth and without difficulties.
–  Place the gear stick into neutral.

–  Pull forwards, to the end, of the safety mechanism for the gear cables and for selection of gears -arrow 1- and block it into place by turning it to the left -arrow 2-.
Assemble the gear stick by carrying out the following steps:
  N34-0880
–  Push the gear stick downwards -arrow 1-.
–  When pushing the gear stick, turn the elbow -A- in the direction of the -arrow 2- until the stick is blocked into place.
  Note!
In this position the inner end of the elbow -A- is housed in the gear stickv by blocking it into the adjust position.

–  Remove the cover from the central console, by carefully moving it forwards.
–  Put the gear stick into the neutral position.

–  Place the linchpin -T10027- into the hole -B- through the hole -A-.
  Note!
In order to make it easy to put the tool -T10027- into place, move the gear stick until the two holes face each other.

–  Turn the safety mechanism for the gearbox cables and for gear selection to the right in the direction of the arrows, up to the end.
  N34-0883
–  Turn the elbow -A- in the -direction of the arrow-, until returning it to its original position.
–  Remove the linchpin -T10027- and assemble the cover for the gear stick on the central console.
