1 - Hexagon bolt
q   10 Nm
q   For the gearbox housing cover
2 - Gearbox casing cover
  Note!
If the gearbox casing cover is fitted with the gearbox fitted in the vehicle, the oil level must be checked as follows:
–  Screw oil level control cap from gearbox.
–  Fill with oil up to the lower border of the fill hole. Filling levels and type of oil → Chapter.
–  Screw oil level control cap onto gearbox.
–  Tighten to 25 Nm.
–  Start the engine, select a gear and let gears run for approx. 2 minutes
–  Stop the engine and refill with oil to the bottom edge of filling hole.

4 - Torx M10 bolt
q   80 Nm
q   Renew
q   A collar on the bolt head keeps the plate spring in the correct position
5 - Plate spring
q   Installation position → Fig.
6 - Bolt
q   25 Nm
q   To fit the 5th gear fork bolts to the gearbox housing
7 - 5th gear fork bolt
8 - Fork for 5th gear
q   Repairing → Chapter
q   Adjusting → Fig.
9 - Sliding sleeve 5th gear
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Adjusting → Fig.
10 - Synchromesh assembly for sliding 5th gear
q   Fit → Fig.
q   Check wear → Anchor
11 - Needle roller bearing
12 - 5th gear
q   Installation position → Fig.
