Clutch release assembly, slave cylinder - Installation overview

1 -	Clutch release bearing

q	Do not wash the bearing, clean only

q	Replace bearings that make noise

q	Remove and install together with clutch release lever and guide sleeve → Fig. to → Fig.

2 -	Bolt 5 Nm + 90º

q	Always replace.

3 -	Clutch release lever:

q	Remove and install together with clutch release bearing and guide sleeve → Fig.

4 -	Fastening spring

q	Secure to clutch lever

5 -	Guide sleeve for the clutch release bearing

q	Remove and install together with clutch release lever and bearing → Fig. to → Fig.

6 -	Input shaft oil seal:

q	Replace → Item

7 -	Knuckle pin 20 Nm

q	Lubricate with grease, according to → Parts catalogue.

Gearbox:

9 -	Clutch slave cylinder attachment bolts 20 Nm

Support

11 -	Clutch cylinder:

q	removing and fitting → Chapter

q	Lubricate the end of the tappet with lubricating grease, according to → Parts catalogue.

Remove and install the clutch release bearing together with the clutch release lever and guide sleeve

–	Remove the two bolts -arrows- and separate the clutch release bearing and the guide sleeve from the input shaft, along with the clutch release lever; release it from the stud.

Install in reverse order

Removing and fitting the guide sleeve

–	Rotate the guide sleeve -3- 90º with respect to the clutch release bearing -2- in the direction of the -arrow-, until the sleeve attachment guides coincide with the grooves -4- of the clutch release bearing.

–	In this position, extract the guide sleeve for the clutch release bearing.

Install in reverse order

Removing and fitting the clutch release bearing

–	Press on the securing tabs -arrows- and take the clutch release socket -A- from the clutch release lever.

–	To fit the clutch release bearing -A-, insert it onto the clutch release lever until the tabs -arrow- are inserted.
