Assembly (taut clutch cable)
–  Pass the clutch cable through the instrument panel and insert the hood.
–  Lubricate the area where clutch cable hooks into the clutch pedal with -G 052 142 A2- grease.
   
–  Attach the clutch cable onto the clutch pedal -arrow-.

–  Attach the clutch cable to the clutch release lever as follows:
–  Insert the rubber washer -3- into the housing of the gear casing.
–  Pull the sheath -2- in the direction of movement of the vehicle and fit the clutch cable in the clutch release lever housing -1-.

–  Attach the clutch cable to the mounting.
  Note!
When attaching the clutch cable to the mounting, do not bend it as the automatic reset mechanism might cease to work properly.

–  Remove the tightening strap from the automatic reset mechanism.
–  Check the functioning of the automatic clutch cable.
–  Mount the cable brackets and fuse-holder in their housing.
