The gear selection lever is in position “N” and the ignition is on:
The gear selection lever is in position “N” and the ignition is on:
l  If the brake pedal is not pressed:
The gear selector lever is locked and cannot move from “N”position while the button is being pressed. The electromagnet locks the gear selector lever.
l  If the brake pedal is pressed:
The selector lever locking solenoid releases the lever. A gear can be selected.
