Clutch release assembly, slave cylinder - Installation overview
1 - Clutch release lever
q   Removing and installing together with clutch release collar → Item and guide sleeve → Item
q   Grease all of the contact points with the spherical pivot and all the contact surfaces with lubricating grease, according to → Electronic spare parts catalogue „ETKA“.
2 - Release bearing
q   Removing and installing together with clutch release collar → Item and guide sleeve → Item
q   Do not wash, clean with a cloth
q   Replace noisy clutch release collar
3 - Bolt - 5 Nm +1/4 turn further (90º)
q   replace
4 - Guide sleeve
q   Removing and installing together with clutch release collar → Item and clutch release lever → Item
5 - Join ring for the input shaft
q   replace → Chapter
6 - Spring retainer
q   For pipe and hose assembly
7 - Pipe and hose assembly
q   To master cylinder
q   removing and fitting → Fig.
8 - Seal
q   replace
9 - Securing clip
10 - Protective cap
11 - Air drain plug - 6 Nm
12 - O ring
q   Replace if worn
13 - Slave cylinder
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
14 - Bolt, 20 Nm
15 - Knuckle pin 20 Nm
q   Grease all of the contact points with the spherical pivot and all the contact surfaces with lubricating grease, according to → Electronic spare parts catalogue „ETKA“.
16 - Retaining spring
q   Secure to clutch release lever

  Note
t  Use oil for the hydraulic circuits → Electronic spare parts catalogue „ETKA“
t  Replace the seal.
t  Secure the connecting pieces of the hose lines with standard clamps → Electronic spare parts catalogue „ETKA“.
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Remove pipe and hose assembly in clutch slave cylinder
  Note
When removing the pipe / hose lines of the cylinder, use the hydraulic seal adapters to avoid liquid leaking onto the body.
  E30-10004
–  To remove, the safety fastener must be released -3- with a screwdriver, and the pipe and hose assembly uncoupled -1- from the slave cylinder -4-.
–  To fit, the pipe and hose assembly must be installed using pressure, together with the new O-ring -2-, on the slave cylinder, until the safety fastener -3- is audibly secured.
–  Pull pipe and hose assembly to check it is properly secured.
