Removal:
–  Remove the selector lever mechanism → Chapter
   
–  With a screwdriver, open the tabs -arrows- of the gear mechanism base plate and remove this.
–  Remove gasket.

–  Slacken off the securing washers-1... 4- and remove the gearshift and selection control cable from the manual gearbox housing.

–  Unhook control cable locking device -A- for gearbox and selection control cables -B- as follows:
–  Press moveable sleeve forwards as far as it will go -arrow 1-.
–  Move the locking collar as far as it will go -arrow 2- and turn to the right in order to secure it.
–  Remove securing elements from control cables.

–  Remove safety washers -1- and -2-.
–  Remove support from control cables.
