Installing oil seal for right stub shaft
Installing oil seal for right stub shaft
   
–  Drive in new seal to stop of thrust piece, taking care not to cant seal.
–  Moisten sealing lips of oil seal with ATF.
–  Insert stub shaft.
–  Apply sealant -D 176 404 A2- to bolt head of countersunk bolt.
–  Secure stub shaft with countersunk bolt.

–  Insert flange shaft -1- into stub shaft and tighten bearings for flange shaft -arrows-.
–  Bolt right drive shaft to flange shaft.
–  Check and top up ATF level with gearbox installed → Chapter.
–  Install noise insulation tray.
