Removing oil seal for right stub shaft
Removing oil seal for right stub shaft
–  Remove noise insulation tray.
–  Turn steering to right to full lock.
–  Unbolt drive shaft from flange shaft.
–  Raise right drive shaft and secure.
   
–  Unscrew bearing for right flange shaft -arrows- and flange shaft -1- from stub shaft.
–  Place drip tray under gearbox.
–  Remove stub shaft securing bolts.
–  Carefully remove stub shaft with compression spring. Taper ring, thrust washer and compression spring can drop out.
–  Pull out stub shaft oil seal using -VW 771- and -VW 771/37-.
