Torque settings

Gearbox to engine

1	M 12 x 55 t  If present, additional for differential support to gearbox	2	80
2	M 12 x 70 t  Tighten from engine side	1	80
3	M 12 x 165 t  Additionally, starter to gearbox	2	80
4	M 10 x 50	2	40
5	M 10 x 125	1	40

Item -A + B- - Dowel sleeves –  Renew bolts.

Gearbox bracket -1- to gearbox.

Bolts -arrows A- and -arrows B-

60 Nm + 90°

–  Renew bolts.

Gearbox to body

Bolts -arrows A-	90 Nm + 90°
Nut -arrow B-	90 Nm + 90°

–  Renew bolts and nut.

Gearbox with bearing housing -1- for flange shaft Bearing housing -1- to gearbox and gearbox carrier -2- Bolts -arrows A-, -B- and -C- → Item l  If differential support -3- is present, it must be installed.

Differential support -1-, if present, to clutch housing. Bolt -2- → Chapter torque settings, gearbox to engine, item 1 Bolt -3- → Item Bolt -4- → Item

Gearbox without bearing housing for flange shaft Differential support -arrow 1-, if present, to clutch housing. Bolt -A- → Item Bolt -B- → Item –  Observe sleeve -arrow 2-

Gearbox carrier through gearbox date 04 06 1 (with flange shaft bearing housing)

Bolts -A-		45 Nm
Bolts -B-		45 Nm

–  Renew bolts.

Gearbox carrier from gearbox date 05 06 1 (without flange shaft bearing housing)
