Installing
   
–  Drive in new seal to stop, being careful not to cant seal.
–  Half-fill space between sealing lip and dust lip with grease -G 052 128 A1-.
–  Insert right flange shaft with compression spring and thrust washer.
  Note!
Carefully guide thrust washer through sealing lips of oil seal to avoid damage to sealing lips.
–  Secure flange shaft with countersunk bolt → Item.

–  Attach left and right coupling rods to anti-roll bar -arrow-. → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.40.
–  Install drive shaft. → Running gear, axles, steering front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40.
–  Check oil in gearbox with bevel box → Chapter.
–  Install noise insulation tray → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.66.
