Torque settings

Torque converter to drive plate	60 Nm
Gearbox to engine bolt M 12	80 Nm
Gearbox to engine bolt M 10	60 Nm
Gearbox to sump/engine M 10	40 Nm
Oil pan/engine to gearbox M 8	25 Nm

Rear gearbox mounting –  Renew bolt -A-.

Bolt -A-	60 Nm + 90°
Nut -B-	100 Nm

–  Apply tightening torque to nut -B-. When doing so, counterhold bolt so that no tension develops in bonded rubber mounting.

Gearbox bracket to gearbox –  Renew bolts.

Bolts -arrows-

50 Nm + 90°

Gearbox to body –  Renew bolts and nuts.

Bolts -arrows A-	90 Nm + 90°
Nuts -arrow B-	90 Nm + 90°

Threaded connection between left wheel bearing housing and lower suspension link -arrow- → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40. Drive shaft to flange shaft and wheel hub → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.40 Wheel bolts to wheel hub → Running gear, axles, steering - front and four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.44
