Rear door window guide: Removing and installing
Rear door window guide: Removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor.
Removing
–  Remove the window well seal outside → Chapter.
–  Remove the rear door glass → Chapter
–  Remove the interior door trim → Item
   
–  Unscrew the bolt -1- and remove the exterior door trim -2-.
  E70-10009
–  Starting from the door lining cavity, separate the window guide -1- from the frame -2-.
–  From the inside remove the sealing lip of the window guide from the door flange.
–  Detach the window guide -1- from the door frame by pulling evenly on the entire frame -arrow B-, starting in the rear section.
–  Remove the window guide -1- from its mount -arrow A-.
Fitting .
Fit in reverse order from removal, remembering the following:
  E64-10170
–  Attach the window guide -1-, starting with the marked zone -arrow A-.
–  Clip the window guide -1- evenly on the entire frame in the door flange.
–  Starting from the door lining cavity, attach the window guide -1- to the frame -2-.
–  From the inside remove the sealing lip of the window guide from the door flange.
Tightening torques → Chapter
  WARNING
Before mounting the door trims, the function of the components must be checked.
→ Chapter „Synchronisation and storage of window course“.
→ Chapter „Automatic raising or lowering: Commissioning“.
