Tailgate Exeo ST 2009: removing
Tailgate Exeo ST 2009: removing
–  Open the tailgate.
–  Remove tailgate trim → Bodywork, Interior body installation work; Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Detach the security clip and disconnect the hose to the rear wiper-7-
–  Detach the connector -11- of the rear window heating.
–  Where installed, disconnect the connector -9- integrated into the rear window antenna.
–  Disconnect the handle of the plug.-5-
–  Disconnect connector -4- from tailgate lock.
–  Disconnect the connector -2- from the rear flap lights.
–  Disconnect the connector -6- of theengine for rear windscreen wiper -V12-.
–  Where installed, rotate the mass screw for the antenna -8-
–  The ultra light composite breaks → removes electrical system; Rep. gr.94.
–  Loosen the line cords from the attachment.-3-
–  Remove nuts -12- and remove the handle-13-.

   
–  On both sides of the hinged cover -1 - detach them in the direction of the -arrows-
–  On both sides of the hinged cover -2 - detach them in the direction of the -arrows-
–  On both sides of the bellows-3- loosen on the side of the tailgate and remove the pipe strand.
Further dismantling requires the help of a second mechanic.
–  Open the tailgate and support it correctly.

–  Raise the retaining spring -1- as shown in the picture with a screwdriver and remove the gas pressure shock absorber -2- from the upper pole joints. -3-
–  Apply the sequence described above to build the gas pressure damper on the other hand.

–  On both sides the bolts -arrow- turn the hinges out turning off the tailgate.
  Note
When resting on any of the parts, put appropriate protective material between the surface and the tailgate to protect the gate.
