Removing gas from gas shock absorber
   
–  Clamp section -X- = 50 mm of gas strut in a vice.
  DANGER!
The gas shock absorber should only be clamped in the -x- area otherwise it may become damaged.
Use eye protection glasses when carrying out the cut.
–  Cut the gas damper cylinder with a saw by the first third part of the total length of the cylinder, using the rod edge as reference.
–  Cover the cutting zone with a rag.
  Note
The oil and the cloth should be duly discarded.
