Install the front bumper trim > < Front bumper cover, removing and installing

–  Remove bolts -arrows-
  E63-10006
–  Remove the screws -arrows- for fixing the wheel housing to the bumper trim.
–  Unscrew the fifth screw at the corner of the bumper.
Vehicles with a connector to glow plug engine heating element (Flex Fuel)
–  Remove connector from the bumper lower grille → Chapter

Continued for all vehicles
–  Unscrew the previous two screws -arrows-. (Only vehicles manufactured until week 38, 2006 → Item)

–  Remove the screw at the bottom.

–  Take off the bumper trim but do not remove completely. First disengage the corners -arrow 1- and then push the trim forwards -arrows 2-.

–  When the trim has been slightly released, separate the fog lights -1- from both sides of the vehicle.
  WARNING
For vehicles fitted with a spray nozzle on the bumper, you can use the removal kit -T20017A- in order to prevent water from running out of the windscreen washer tank.

–  Remove the windscreen wiper motor -1- and insert the rubber plug from the removal kit -T20017A-.
–  Then remove the plug connectors of the windscreen wiper motor.
–  Completely remove the bumper trim.
  Note
Supporting on any of the parts, put an appropriate material between rear bumper trim and supporting surface to protect the bumper trim.
