Installation and removal procedures of the Altea FR are carried out in the same way as the Altea 04. Differences between both vehicles: their optical appearance.
   
1 - Front bumper trim
q   PP/EPDM Material
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
2 - Anagram grill
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
3 - Torx bolt
q   5 Nm
4 - Front cross member
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
5 - Screw dowel
6 - Lateral guide
q   removing
–  Remove the trim of the bumper from the lateral guide -6-.
–  Unscrew bolts -7- and remove lateral guide -6-.
q   Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
7 - Torx bolt
q   2.5 Nm
8 - Screw dowel
9 - Front wheel housing guard
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
10 - Torx bolt
q   1.5 Nm
11 - Bolt
q   2.5 Nm
q   8 pieces
12 - Bolt
q   5 Nm
q   2 pieces
  Note
Vehicles manufactured from week 38/2006: bolts are no longer fitted and the two welded supports from the bumper cross beam are eliminated.
13 - Bumper lining lower grille
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
14 - Vehicles with a connector on the bottom side of the bumper trim with engine heating element connector (Flex Fuel)
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
