| Removal: |
| – | Open the front bonnet and hold open with the bonnet rod. |
| To remove the expanding rivets -1- proceed as follows: |
| – | Insert lever -T10236- in the space ready in the central piston of the clip and move the piston upwards and extract the expanding rivets -1-. |
Note| To protect the bumper trim -5-, stick masking tape -3- over the bumper trim as shown in the graphic. |
| – | Using a pen, mark the dimension a = 20 mm on the masking tape -3-. |
| – | Apply a narrow plastic spatula -4- between the bumper lining -5- and the upper grill -2- in the area of the masking tape -3-. |
| – | Insert the lever -U30800- between the narrow plastic spatula -2- and the upper grille -4- underneath the dimension a = 20 mm. |
Note| To be able to make enough space available for inserting a Ø 5 mm flat screwdriver between the fine plastic wedge and the upper grille -4-, push the lever -U30800- in far enough to make the gap. |
| – | Insert a Ø 5 mm flat screwdriver between the plastic wedge -2- and the upper grille -4- with the dimension a = 20 mm in the direction of -arrow A- until the end of the clip -6-. |
| – | Use the flat screwdriver -3- to lever the clip -5- from its fastening -6- in the direction of -arrow B-. |
| – | Remove upper grate -4- to one side ? Use the same procedure for the opposite side. |
| – | Apply pressure to the lower part of the grille -1- in the direction of the -arrows- to release the clips -2- from their fastening -3- to the bumper trim. |
| – | Remove grille -1-. |
