| Carry out the following work: |
| – | Remove front door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Remove cover → Chapter. |
| – | Remove lock cylinder → Chapter or cover cap → Chapter. |
| – | Remove door handle → Chapter. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -4- and remove seal -3-. |
| – | Remove bearing bracket -1- from door -arrow a-. |
| Release Bowden cable |
| – | Release holding device -2- and swivel it out of mounting in bearing bracket -arrow b-. |
| – | Lift cable bolt out of mounting -arrow c-. |
| – | Remove cable -2- from the bearing bracket -1 --arrow d-. |
