Power window motor in front door: Manual actuation
Power window motor in front door: Manual actuation
  Note
If it is not possible to get the power window motor to turn, proceed as described in the instructions below:
l  Window riser motor with trademark Bosch
   
–  Extract the bolts -1-.
–  Carefully remove housing -2- from power window motor.
  N57-0237
–  Carefully remove rotor from -1- power window motor in -direction of arrow-.
–  In this manner it is possible to lower the door window down to the height of the openings of the door assembly carrier.
  Note
When installing rotor -1- do not damage brushes -2-.
l  Window riser motor with trademark Siemens
  N57-0238
–  Extract the bolts -2-.
–  Carefully remove housing -1- from power window motor.
  Note
In these types of window riser motors it is not possible to remove the rotor from the housing.
  E57-0034
–  By twisting the rotor -1- it is possible to lower the door window up the height of the openings of the door assembly carrier.
  Note
When twisting the rotor, ensure that brushes remain in their position.
