  Note
As the seal is always cut when the side window is removed, a new side window must always be installed.
Carry out the following work:
–  Pull decorative trim strip -4- (if there is one) out of seal.
Protect surrounding parts against damage.
–  Cut off seal -3- around front side window -1-.

  WARNING
It is obligatory to wear protective glasses and leather gloves.
  Note
As an exception to the rule, the front side window can be cut out on the Alhambra with cutting cord.
   
–  Place cutting cord -2- around front side window -1-.
–  Secure ends of cutting cord with pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1- -3 -.
–  Cut through adhesive bead with „sawing“ motions -arrows- of pull handles -V.A.G 1351/1-.
