Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removing
–  Open the front door.
–  Move front door window half way down.
–  Switch off all electrical components.
–  Remove the ignition key.
  WARNING
A side airbag sensor is integrated into the front door frame. Observe safety precautions for airbag → body, inner assembly work; Rep. gr.69.
–  Remove the front door trim → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. gr.70.
  Note
t  The window riser motor can be installed or removed regardless of its position, in which the motor and window glass are located.
t  Unplug connectors before removing motor.
–  Unplug the electrical connectors.

–  Unscrew Torx bolts -2- and remove motor -1-.
Installing
  A57-0277
–  When installing, make sure threaded pins -arrows- are engaged in inner door panel.
–  Fit the window lifter motor -1- and secure with bolts -2-.
–  Tightening torque: 3 Nm.
–  Plug in electrical connectors.
–  Connect the electric connector of the electric window switch.
–  Switch on ignition.
–  Make sure that the window can be opened and closed properly and easily.
Installation in reverse order, take into account the following note
–  Install the front door trim → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. gr.70.
–  Undertake the synchronisation and storage of the window course → Chapter.
