| Cut back the remaining material on the bodywork flange using the electric knife -SAT 1561- and the blade -SAT 1561/20-. |
Note | The remaining material is used as an adhesive basis for the new sealing glue to be applied. These surfaces must be kept free of dirt and grease. |
| Exception: if the fitting does not take place immediately after sanding down the remaining glue, this should be reactivated using the activator → Parts catalogue. |

| If the bodywork flange has been reworked or partially replaced, after painting, the new zone must be cleaned and primed correspondingly. |
