Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lever -U 30800-
t  Drill with 6.25 mm bit
t  Blind rivet nuts pliers -SAT 1007/25-
t  Removal → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removal
–  Remove interior lining on front door: → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. Gr.70
–  Remove the window . → Chapter.
–  Remove door unit sub-frame → Chapter.
–  Removing window regulator motor → Chapter

–  Drill out pop rivets -Arrows-, for fastening power window unit to door unit sub-frame. Use Ø 6.25 mm bit.

–  Unhook the three mounting bolts for the power window unit by exerting pressure on one of the clips -Arrows-.
Installing
–  Position power window unit on rear section of door unit sub-frame.
–  Press mounting bolts for power window mechanism into appropriate openings in door unit sub-frame.

–  Fasten power window unit on door unit sub-frame, using pop rivets located in openings provided for this purpose -Arrows-.
t  Pop rivets: Ø 6 mm, head Ø 11 mm
t  Quantity: 4
–  Install door unit sub-frame → Chapter.
–  Install window → Chapter.
–  Install interior lining on front door: → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. Gr.70
