| Adjusting flushness |
Note| t | The threaded plate -6- for the striker pin is welded to the pillar. The webs of the threaded plate can be bent if sufficient force is applied. |
| t | Bolts -2- in upper roller guide must always be renewed. |
| t | Whenever the lower roller guide -8- is adjusted, the rear upper dimension changes as well because the sliding door becomes twisted via the hinge fitting. |
| t | Whenever the upper roller guide -1- is adjusted, the rear lower dimension changes as well because the sliding door becomes twisted via the hinge fitting. |
| t | When the sliding door is being opened, special attention must be paid to the free movement of the seal or trim strip of the side window -arrow c- |
| t | Make sure that the catch can move freely. |
| – | For adjustment work on the sliding door, the drive must be uncoupled by means of the customer service mode → Chapter |

| – | In order to adjust the flushness of the front sliding door -9--arrow b-, the screws of the locking pegs must be loosened → Chapter |
| – | Undo the screws -7- of lower roller guide -8-. |
| – | Undo bolts -2- of upper roller guide -1-. |
| – | Screw in new bolts -2-. |
| – | Adjust the flushness of the front sliding door -arrow b-. |
| – | Tighten the screws -7- of lower roller guide, tightening torque: 20 Nm. |
| – | Tighten the screws -2- of top roller guide, tightening torque: 20 Nm. |
Note| After completion of the adjustment work, the bolts of the roller guide must be tightened again. |
| – | Tighten screws of locking pegs securely → Chapter |
| – | In order to adjust the flushness -arrow a- of the rear sliding door-3-, the bolts -5- of the striker pin must be loosened -4-. |
| – | Adjust shut line of sliding door -arrow a-. |
| – | Tighten the bolts of the striker pin, tightening torque: 20 Nm. |
| – | Check the adjustment. |
| – | After completion of the adjustment work, the screws -2- of the upper roller guide must be tightened, tightening torque: 50 Nm + 90°. |
