| Removal: |
| Carry out the following work: |
| – | Remove sliding door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | Remove cover → Chapter |
| – | Removing cover cap → Chapter |
| – | Remove door handle → Chapter. |
| – | Unscrew bolt -2- and remove seal. |
| – | Remove bearing bracket -1- from door. |
Note| Bowden cables can be detached if this is necessary for subsequent work. |

| – | Release the holding device -3- and swivel the holding device -3- out of mounting in bearing bracket -arrow a-. |
| – | Lift cable bolt out of mounting -arrow c-. |
