Removing and installing trim strip on driver's side > < Removing and installing trim for heating and air-conditioning control system

Removing and installing trim strip with integrated warning light switch -E3-
Removing
–  Switch off ignition.
–  Remove side dash panel cover, passenger's side → Chapter.
–  Remove trim for heating and air-conditioning control system → Chapter.
   
–  Remove side screw -1- (1.5 Nm) above glove compartment.
–  Remove screw -3- (1.5 Nm) above heating and air-conditioning control system.
–  Carefully lever trim strip -2- out of mountings in dash panel, using wedge -T10383/1-.
–  Detach wiring harness from warning light switch -E3-.

Installing
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
