Airbag control unitJ234, installation
Airbag control unit -J234-, installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order to the procedure described when removing. The following should be taken into account:
–  Switch on the ignition.
–  Close vehicle windows.
–  Connect battery earth cable.
  DANGER!
On connecting the battery earth cable, ensure that there is no-one inside the vehicle .
  Note
t  On reconnecting battery, remember to activate vehicle equipment (radio/radio navigation system, clock, electric window lifters) in line with → Instruction Manual.
   
t  If, after assembly, the airbag warning light -K75- lights up, the fault memory must be erased using the central diagnosis -VAS 505X-. After erasing the memory, consult the fault memory again .
