Airbag Unit driver side, 3rd Generation. / Multifunction Steering Wheel. : installing
–  Connect the airbag unit cables
–  Place the airbag unit in the assembly position. Fit by pressing first on the horizontal spoke area and then the vertical.
Continue the assembly in the reverse order to removal, remembering to:
–  Switch off all electrical components.
–  Switch ignition on.
–  Close vehicle windows.
  DANGER!
On connecting the battery earth cable, ensure that there is no-one inside the vehicle .
–  Connect battery earth cable.
  Note
t  On reconnecting battery, vehicle equipment must be activated (radio/radio navigation system, clock, electric power windows) according to the → Instruction Manual.
   
t  If, after assembly, the airbag warning light -K75- lights up, the fault memory must be erased using the central diagnosis -VAS 505X-. After erasing the memory, consult the fault memory again .
