  WARNING
Disconnect battery earth strap before working on the electrical system.
Before carrying out work to separate, straighten or remove dents from the bodywork, the belt pretensioner units should be removed.
  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery, check the anti-theft coding on radios with this feature.
t  When the battery is reconnected, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, window risers), following the indications in the Workshop Manual and/or the Operating Instructions.
–  Remove side lining → Chapter
–  Remove the upper lining of strut B → Chapter.
–  Remove the skirting moulding → Chapter.
–  Remove the front support fitting → Chapter.
–  Release connection with the automatic seatbelt device -5-.
–  Remove bolt -2- from the support fitting -3-.
–  Remove the belt guide -6-.
–  Remove the nut -4-.
–  Remove the bolt -7- and remove the automatic seatbelt device -5-.
