Functional check of the belt buckle
Check of the belt buckle:
–  Insert tongue until it can be heard to engage. Pull belt firmly to check whether locking mechanism has engaged.
t  If after a minimum of 5 tests, the tongue comes out once or more, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced.
Checking release function:
–  Release the seat belt by pressing on the buckle button with one finger. When the belt webbing is slack, the tongue should come out of the buckle.
–  Repeat the test at least 5 times.
t  If the tongue does not come out every time, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced.
  WARNING
Never use lubrication to eliminate noise or difficult movement in the seat belt mechanisms.
