Functional check of the belt buckle |
Check of the belt buckle: |

| Insert tongue until it can be heard to engage. Pull belt firmly to check whether locking mechanism has engaged. |

| If after a minimum of 5 tests, the tongue comes out once or more, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced. |
Checking release function: |

| Release the seat belt by pressing on the buckle button with one finger. When the belt webbing is slack, the tongue should come out of the buckle. |

| Repeat the test at least 5 times. |

| If the tongue does not come out every time, the complete seat belt and buckle must be replaced. |
WARNING Never use lubrication to eliminate noise or difficult movement in the seat belt mechanisms. |
