Removing and installing lock cylinder > < Removing and installing door handle|Removal

Installation
Installation
   
–  Check clip -1- for damage and renew if necessary.
–  Swing door handle in while turning ignition key 45° to right, so that handle slides along door panel without any air gap -arrow-.
–  Install Torx bolt -2-; specified torque: 8 Nm.
Left lock - right-hand thread, right lock - left-hand thread.

–  Press door handle into place -arrow-.
–  Tighten tolerance bolt -1-. Specified torque = 3 Nm.
Do not push tolerance bolt sideways when tightening it (e.g. by supporting the socket on the panel cut-out). The door handle must be pressed against the outer door panel.
Adjustment is made by tightening the tolerance bolt.
l  Then check for correct operation.
