| q | Remove → Anchor |
| 4 - | Hexagon nut |
| q | 50 Nm. |
| 5 - | Recoil ring with friction ring: |
| q | Remove → Chapter |
| 6 - | Internal ribbed bolt |
| q | 6.5 Nm. |
| q | Must always be replaced |
| 7 - | Lower part of lining |
| 8 - | Foam tube |
| 9 - | Connector |
| Removal |
| – | Unroll the battery strap. |
| – | Place steering wheel -1- with wheels facing forwards (central position) |
| – | Remove bolts -6- (6.5 Nm). Remove the airbag unit -3- from the steering wheel and remove connector -2- from the airbag unit. |
| Installation |
| – | Fit airbag unit. |
| – | Switch ignition on. |

| – | Connect the battery earth strap |
