| Safety precautions when working on the airbag system |

| Any checking, fitting and/or repair work must only be carried out by specialised personnel. |

| When working on the airbag system, the battery earth strap must be removed. Once the battery is disconnected there is no need to wait before proceeding with the work. When connecting the airbag to a power supply nobody must be inside the vehicle. |

| The airbag units must be fitted as soon as they are removed from their packing box. |
| t
| If work has to be stopped, the airbag unit must be replaced in its box again. |
| t
| The airbag unit must not be left lying around unsupervised. |
| t
| Airbag units should be kept on a soft surface facing upwards. |
| t
| Airbag units that have fallen on a hard surface or show signs of damage cannot be fitted. |
| t
| Rejected airbags should be marked and sent back to the manufacturer for disposal (Use original packaging). |
