  Caution
On doing any work on the frame bear in mind that when it is in normal position it is in tension because of the springs and on activating the release mechanism or doing any repairs to it the seat will fold up. Danger of getting caught.
   
–  Remove the cover -1- levering, remove star-head screw -2- and remove actioning control -3-.
