| Lock carrier in service position |
| – | Uncouple the electric connectors |
| – | Disconnect the Bowden cable from the lock → Chapter, Bowden Cable: dismantling and fitting |
| – | Dismounting the front bumper → Chapter, Front bumper; Assembly overview |
| – | Remove front lining and spoiler → Chapter, Lock carrier with moving components: dismantling and fitting |
| – | Remove the hexagonal screws -2- and -3-, and the hexagon nuts -4-, which secure the lock carrier to the bodywork |
| – | Fit tool -T20089- to the threaded bolts |
| – | Pull the lock carrier forward until it is in the service position |
Note!| When moving the lock carrier take care not to uncouple or bend any pipes |
