Radiator and condenser: unscrew > < Body, front

1 - Hexagonal screw
q   Four units
q   With washer
q   8.5 Nm
2 - Lock carrier with moving components
q   Should be able to be fitted without any resistance
q   When fitting or removing, the wings of the vehicle should be protected to prevent damage.
q   Put in service position → Chapter, Lock carrier in service position:
3 - Threaded bolts
q   To secure the lock carrier to the bodywork
4 - Hexagonal screw
q   With washer
q   6.5 Nm
5 - Retaining clip
6 - Front lining
7 - Washer
8 - Hexagonal screw
q   3 Nm
9 - Spoiler
10 - Hexagonal screw
q   3 Nm
11 - Washer
12 - Hexagon nut
13 - Hexagon nut
q   Four units
q   20 Nm
Dismantling
–  Remove insulation tray if fitted → Chapter, Insulation tray: dismantling and fitting
–  Disconnect the Bowden cable from the lock → Chapter, Bowden Cable: dismantling and fitting
–  Separate the headlights, front indicators and the fog lamps if fitted → Electrical systems; Rep. Gr.94
–  Dismounting the front bumper → Chapter, Front bumper; Assembly overview
–  Separate the intercooler hoses (according to versions) → 4 cyl. diesel engine; Rep. Gr.21
–  Remove hexagonal screws -8- which secure the spoiler to the wings
–  Remove hexagonal screws -4-, and separate the front lining along with the spoiler
–  Remove the screws which secure the radiator condenser assembly to the lock carrier → Chapter, Radiator and condenser: unscrew
–  Secure the radiator and the condenser in the engine well
  Note!
Do not hang the the radiator condenser assembly from the hoses, and do not fold hoses
–  Remove the hexagonal screws -1- and the hexagonal nuts -13-
–  Separate the lock carrier forwards, taking care not to damage the paintwork on the wings
Installation
–  Centre the lock carrier by means of the sills between the wings
–  Install in reverse order
t  Spacings → Bodywork-repairs; Rep. Gr.00
–  Adjusting the headlights and fog lamps if fitted → Electrical systems; Rep. Gr.94
