Airbag control unit J234, removing

Airbag control unit -J234-, removing

Note

t	Pay attention to codes (and consult when necessary) for vehicles with coded radio/radio navigation system (RNS).

t	Before working with the airbag system, always read the safety precautions → Chapter.

–	With ignition switched off, disconnect earth connection from battery.

–	Remove the trim / footwell area -5-.

–	Turn the latch -2- in the opposite direction to the -arrow- and remove connector -3- from the control unit -1-.

–	Undo the bolts -4- and remove the control unit -1- from the studs.
