Airbag unit driver's side, removal

Note

t	Pay attention to codes (and consult when necessary) for vehicles with coded radio/radio navigation system (RNS).

t	Before working with the airbag system, always read the safety precautions → Chapter.

–	With ignition switched off, disconnect earth connection from battery.

–	Position the steering wheel -1- in central position (Wheels straight).

–	Remove the bolts -6- (6.5 Nm). Remove the airbag unit -3- from the steering wheel -1- and disconnect connector -2- of the airbag unit -3-.
